Restaurante Artisanal
Located in the traditional Condesa neighborhood, which in recent years has become one of the cultural and gastronomic references of Mexico City, the Artisanal Bistrot is presented as a new offering that stands out within the wide and varied range of the area. The challenge for ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea was to create an impactful and very welcoming space, for which they selected a neutral color palette, which in its light and dark tones, generated a wide range of textures that fill the space.
The combination of materials generates a calm atmosphere that frames the culinary experience of the place. The use of natural woods in the bar and tables stands out, as well as the accents provided by the mirror frames that expand the space with their reflections. The white painted partition and the pasta floors generate an interesting texture, which is complemented by the application of grids on the walls to complement the graphic proposal. The wooden lattice from the 70s stands out, which was renovated and illuminated to turn it into an element of brilliant presence.
The space has two interior areas, the first has a large bench with tables for two people along its entire length and the second is the bar that is complemented by high tables along the wall in front of it. The space ends with a pleasant terrace where diners can also enjoy a pleasant meal.
